After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids of his hair, and so began to subdue him. And his strength left him.

Consequences of sin: The story is a cautionary tale about how sin, particularly giving in to temptation, can lead to a person's downfall, making them spiritually blind even before physical suffering occurs.

Human weakness: It highlights that even the strongest individuals have weaknesses and can make poor choices that lead to suffering.

Divine purpose: Despite the human elements of weakness and betrayal, the story ultimately shows that God can still fulfil His purposes through imperfect people.
